The Midline Redevelopment Project

The Midline is a 350-plus acre redevelopment initiative in Cleveland's near east side that aims to convert long-vacant industrial land into a connected employment district, public greenway, and community asset linking major job centers. The project focuses on advanced manufacturing, research and development, and related industries, with plans for at least 1.5 million square feet of new industrial and commercial space supporting more than 2,500 direct jobs. It includes environmental cleanup, brownfield remediation, adaptive reuse of historic structures, and new construction to create a modern urban employment district with vibrant public spaces.
