Description

This forecast has been amended to adjust the estimated date the NOFO to post in October 2022, and estimated date it will close to December 2022.  ACF's OHS announces the availability of $1 million to be competitively awarded for the purpose of operating a NHSFP for OHS. The NHSFP will create a new cadre of leaders in the early childhood field. The Fellowship program brings together experienced and dedicated professionals who support OHS in developing and implementing long-term quality improvement initiatives. OHS is interested in applicants with demonstrated knowledge of the importance of the ongoing professional development of the early care and education workforce, including the significance of culture and language, family and community, health equity and access, mental health, cognitive and social emotional development, and general school readiness, as well as the value of how management and policy influences early care and education field. Additionally, applicants would be expected to describe a detailed applicant recruitment and selection process and selected candidate onboarding process with OHS. OHS is also interested in applicants with the demonstrated capacity to manage travel logistics, meeting management, and the coordination of training and professional development opportunities.
