Description | On March 17, 2011 a Singapore based company Sinomem Technology Ltd. Signed an agreement with the Hua’an County Government to build and operate the No. 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant of Hua’an County, in Hua’an County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. This is the 23rd wastewater treatment plants undertaken by Sinomem. The total investment is RMB 58.13 million (US$ 8.88 million) and Simomem has a 100% stake in the project. The Plant has a capacity of 10,000 cubic meters per day (phase 1) and the long term objective to expand it to gain a capacity of 30,000 cubic meters per day. Sinomem won the agreement through an open bidding process with a treatment fee of RMB 1.13 Yuan per cubic meter. The concession term is 26 years including 1 year for construction. According to a call for proposal for construction works dated on January 11, 2012, capital for the project had been secured. |
