The Saint Private Sauna and Cold-Plunge Wellness Space

The Saint is a wellness destination designed by architecture studio BoND in Chelsea, New York. The 102-square-metre interior contains four private wellness pods, each equipped with a dry sauna, cold-plunge bath, shower, and dressing area. The design uses a bento box logic with material changes to define spaces, creating a residential atmosphere with subdued lighting and carefully selected finishes to transform a windowless interior into a quiet retreat. The interiors combine slate, terrazzo, stainless steel, cypress, walnut, and fritted glass to distinguish wet and dry areas.
