Description | The Summerhill is a 32-storey luxury residential development by Woodcliffe located at the corner of Yonge Street and Birch Avenue in Toronto's historic Summerhill neighbourhood. The project focuses on introducing new residential density while preserving the historic character and scale of the area. It incorporates the preservation and restoration of historic retail façades along Yonge Street and aims to create an inviting pedestrian experience. The building features a slender curtain wall and porcelain-clad contemporary tower designed to minimize visual impact and maximize natural light and views. Interiors are designed by Brian Gluckstein emphasizing spacious layouts and connection to the outdoors. The development will have 62 residences and be one of the tallest new buildings in the neighbourhood. |
