The project involves the development of approximately 60 acres of land within the National Western Center (NWC), a planned agricultural research, business and entertainment campus in Denver, Colorado, located in the western USA.The so-called "Triangle" site will include a new 10,000-seat arena, a trade show and exhibition hall and structured parking for 2,000 vehicles. The site contains a historic building dating to 1909 that must be redeveloped by the private partner. There is also an opportunity to develop between 140 and 245-room hospitality facilities, 200-400 housing units and additional retail and office developments.The development partner will design, build, finance, operate and maintain public facilities, including:restoration of the 1909 Stadium Arena;construction of an exposition hall; andconstruction of a new, mid-size arena for the National Western Stock Show rodeos, concerts, and other year-round entertainment events.The project will also include environmental clean-up of parts of the site and construction of infrastructure to support and connect the campus to surrounding neighborhoods.
