Description
Description | The Trondek Hwechin Farm project will construct a berm of approximately 340m adjacent to the farm and with harvestable berry crops and other perennial plants to move the runoff water through the farm site and prevent erosion while increasing food security. The project’s design elements will reestablish and improve the existing trail system of approximately 1.3 KM, including a 15ft bridge to support community outreach and access to the farm land, which serves as a gathering space and an agricultural education in partnership with the school, connection to the land, and access to wild harvest and traditional medicines. |
