Description
Description | The Yas Hotel is a 500-room, 85,000-square-meter hotel consisting of two twelve-story towers linked by a monocoque steel and glass bridge that crosses above the Yas Marina Circuit F1 race track. It is the first hotel in the world built over an F1 race circuit, featuring an environmentally responsive exterior skin with a full color changing LED lighting system. The design includes a 217-meter curvilinear glass and steel Grid-Shell structure made of 5,800 pivoting diamond-shaped glass panels, creating a landmark visible from miles away. The hotel embodies influences from speed, spectacle, and ancient Islamic art traditions, designed to be a significant landmark for Abu Dhabi. |
