"The project ""Theatre in Exile"" supports displaced artists through an integrated four-part approach: an AI-based Language & Migration Lab that serves as an interdisciplinary research hub studying language barriers and developing multilingual tools for artistic expression. The theatrical production ""Sorry for my..."" transforms authentic migration experiences into performances that combine comedy, poetry, and drama to explore identity, communication, and cultural integration challenges. Artists with migration backgrounds perform their own stories, using stand-up comedy techniques to address stereotypes, discrimination, and the complexities of building new communities in exile. The Incubator provides comprehensive professional development for migrant artists, offering skills training, mentorship, residencies, and career advancement opportunities to help them establish sustainable artistic careers in their new environments. The Embodied Communication Curriculum focuses on non-verbal cross-cultural communication, teaching gesture, movement, and spatial awareness to bridge linguistic divides between displaced artists and their new communities. Together, these components create a supportive ecosystem that enables displaced artists to navigate cultural adaptation while maintaining their artistic practice, building professional networks, and fostering mutual understanding between host communities and newcomers."
