Description

The EUTEC is in line with the concept of JM Chair as it was planned as a 3-year coherent short teaching programme in the field of EU studies at a higher education institution – USEM University of European Studies of Moldova, conducted by Dr. Hab. Beniuc V., professor. In relation to the objectives of JM Chair the aims were to: 1. promote research and teaching experience for young researchers and scholars in EU issues, 2. foster the publication and dissemination of the results of academic research, 3.deliver tailor-made courses on specific EU issues relevant for graduates in their professional life. The EUTEC aimed to create a consistent body of interconnected specific activities done simultaneously in 2021-2024, including: 1. Teaching activities: a. preparation and introduction of two new courses to the USEM curriculum covering EU integration issues, b. organization of 1 week summer school for Moldovan students. 2 .Scientific and research activities carried out during the whole project in alignment with other activities in order to ensure their up-to-date scientific accuracy and relevance (such as e.g. preparation of various publications; editorial and review work; active participation in various scientific events as a speaker, moderator, discussant, guest lecturer, expert; the role of PhD supervisor;) 3. Events, which simultaneously combine scientific, educational and promotional functions: a. 3 open cross-sector roundtable debates – conferences (once a year) concerning cognition of the EU, 4. Preparation and maintenance of the deliverables to inform about and promote: the project and its scope focused on European studies and JM Activities in general, as well as European integration: a. didactic materials for the two new courses, b. the project website created and developed during the project and run after it to multiply its results, c. at least 6 academic publications integrating the results of research.
