Third Street Water Distribution Upgrades

The project will upgrade the water distribution and wastewater collection pipes in Rainy River, Ontario. The work will involve replacing approximately 530 metres of transmission pipes along Third Street, the distribution pipes along Mill and Broadway Avenues (including the replacement of wastewater collection pipes), and approximately 60 metres of the distribution pipe connected to the water treatment plant. The project will fund improvements to transmission pipes, which will increase access to potable water by increasing the reliability and capacity of the transmission infrastructure.
