Thompson-Nicola - Pritchard Community Water System Filtration Project

The project will increase the capacity to treat potable water through the construction of a new water treatment facility for the community of Pritchard in the Thompson Nicola Regional District. The new facility will provide clean drinking water that meets the regulatory requirements and will eliminate boil water advisories. Project works include: - water filtration plant with disinfection and chlorination; - intake improvements including equipment and piping; - new treatment building including monitoring and controls; - upgrades to existing facilities; - treated water piping and equipment; - waste piping and equipment to connect to existing wastewater treatment plant; - civil, mechanical, and electrical works; and, - related works
