Three Rivers Cardigan Ballfield Lights and Upgrades

The project consists of improvements to an existing ball field facility which is actively used by the Cardigan Baseball Association and residents of Cardigan and area. The scope of the project consists of the installation of lights for the JD MacIntyre Field, upgrades to the canteen and storage areas, installation of two dusk-to-dawn lights for the parking lot, and the construction of a broadcast/registration/storage building. The aim of the project is to add playable hours to an already overcrowded facility and allow for the attraction of tournaments which will provide revenue opportunities; to provide needed storage and improvements to the canteen building; to install night lights in the parking lot for safety and security reasons of patrons; and to erect a building that will be invaluable for tournaments and league action for broadcasting, tournament registration and secure storage.
