Three-storey Apartment Building on Cabana Road

planned

City council approved plans for a three-storey, 29-unit apartment building on land currently occupied by two single-family homes at 1141 and 1175 Cabana Rd in South Windsor. The development is part of a broader initiative to encourage higher-density housing along major transit corridors, including Cabana Road West. The project aims to provide retirement living and downsizing options, with units ranging from 680 to 750 square feet. The original proposal was for a four-storey building with commercial units, but it was revised to a three-storey apartment after resident opposition.
