• The scope of the Conventional and Specialized Bus Replacement project (the Project) includes the purchase of four (4) diesel transit buses and 12 diesel paratransit transit buses to replace existing buses in the transit fleet that have reached the end of their asset life. • The new buses will replace buses that are in poor condition. The replacement will reduce Thunder Bay Transit and Lift+ service disruptions and maintenance costs while providing users with a smoother and more reliable transit experience. • The project will contribute to the quality, safety and access to the City of Thunder Bay’s transit system.
