In May 2011, a local private company Tianjin Hongfa Investment Group signed an agreement with Tianjin Port (Group) Company Limited, a SOE to build and operate the Tianjin Port Shenghan Petrochemical Wharf in Tianjin Municipality. Description | In May 2011, a local private company Tianjin Hongfa Investment Group signed an agreement with Tianjin Port (Group) Company Limited, a SOE to build and operate the Tianjin Port Shenghan Petrochemical Wharf in Tianjin Municipality. The total investment was RMB 577.38 million (US$ 93.98 million) and Hongfa Group had a 49% stake in the project. The wharf consisted of two 50,000 ton berths for bulk petrochemical liquid handling. Substantial construction had been finished by August 2014. Main works were completed in December 2014. The concession term was 50 years. |
