Tigard Public Safety Building

Tigard officials are proposing a $150 million bond to build a new combined police and public works facility on Southwest Wall Street. The new facility aims to replace aging police and public works buildings, consolidate several city departments, and improve operational efficiency. The project includes a roughly 100,000 square foot multi-story office building with police training facilities, a gun range, fitness center, records storage, fleet warehouse, vehicle wash, and protected parking for large public works trucks. The emergency operations center will be capable of functioning independently for seven days after a natural disaster.
