Description | Entergy Louisiana signed a 20-year agreement with Energy Transfer for natural gas deliveries to Meta's AI data center in northeast Louisiana and the local grid. Energy Transfer will transport about 250 million cubic feet of natural gas a day starting February 2028 via the 200-mile Tiger Pipeline to a supply hub at Delhi in Richland Parish. Entergy plans to build two 750-megawatt power generation units at the Titanium Advanced Power Station near Holly Ridge. Energy Transfer will also build a 12-mile extension of the Tiger Pipeline to potentially increase natural gas supply to 1 billion cubic feet a day for future expansion of Meta's data center. |
