This data center will be the most powerful in Brazil and is part of the Pecém Industrial and Port Complex. The project aims to use 100% renewable energy and is expected to begin construction in late 2025 or early 2026, with the first phase operational in the second half of 2027. The project has faced protests from the Anacé Indigenous people due to concerns about environmental and social impacts and lack of prior consultation. |
