Information Ministry of Railways has come up with Tilak Bridge Additional Train Handling Facilities Project with a ticket size of 180.9 INR Crores. This project in Railway Terminal Infrastructure sub-sector involves Development of Coach/Freight/Passenger Terminal and offers an opportunity for contractors involved in construction of track, workshops etc. The current status of the project is work is in progress at all stations. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Hazrat Nizamuddin station - Commissioning of PF no. 8 , provision of PF shelter, FOB connectivity will enhance passenger amenities. It is also essential for zero based timetable. Provision of washable apron will provide cleanliness at Platform line. Construction of Loco shed & Loco Office will help in necessary maintenance of Locomotives. Subzi Mandi and Delhi Sarai Rohilla station - Addtitional trains can be handled with improved passenger amenities.
