Information Department of water resources-MH - II has come up with Tillari Irrigation Project with a ticket size of 649.6 INR Crores. This project in Irrigation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Notice to Proceed and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project The Tillari [Inter State] Irrigation Project located in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra is a Joint Venture of Govt. of Maharashtra & Govt. of Goa to construct Head Works consisting of a Masonry Dam with gated Spillway, Earthen Dam, Pick-Up Weir and Canal Network to compound 462.17 MCM water for Irrigation in CCA of 21,197 ha. as well to supply 111.465 MCM of water annually to Goa for its Industrial &Domestic needs from the Left Bank Canal. Out of 21,197 ha of CCA, 14,521 ha. lies in Goa and 6,676 ha.in Maharashtra. The entire head works located in Maharashtra. An interstate agreement of Tillari Irrigation Project between GoM & GoA was signed on 6th April 1990. The cost of the project is to be shared in the ratio of 73.3percentage and 26.7percentage by the GoA and GoM respectively on the basis of water utilization. During inclusion of Project under PMKSY-AIBP in 2016 Balance Cost of the Project was Rs 299.55 crore Eligible Central Assistance was Rs 17.91 crore CA released since 2016 till October 2021- Rs. 11.94 crore State Share released through NABARD under LTIF till October 2021- Rs 230.82 crore Physical progress- 89.47 percentage Financial Progress- 76.63 percentage Ultimate Irrigation Potential is 6570 Ha Irrigation Potential created till October 2021- 6260 Ha Projected Date of Completion- December 2023
