Information Water Resources-GA has come up with Tillari Project, Goa with a ticket size of 1051.73 INR Crores. This project in Irrigation sub-sector involves The current status of the project is Completion Certificate/COD and is being developed through the EPC route. Economic/Social Impact of the Project Tillari interstate Project is a Joint Venture of Government of Goa and Maharashtra. The Common Head Works namely a Masonry Dam with gated Spillway across river Tillari, Earthen Dam and Pick-up Weir across Kharari Nallah are located in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra at the boundary of Goa State. The Head Works, as above have already been completed including the Left Bank Main Canal [LBMC] & Right Bank Main Canal [RBMC] in Maharashtra State which are also the common canals for Maharashtra & Goa. Provision has also been made in the project to supply 111.465 MM3 of water annually for industrial and domestic needs from left bank main canal. Tillari Project is included under Centrally Sponsored Scheme, PMKSY-AIBP and prioritized in 2016 for early completion. During inclusion of Project under PMKSY-AIBP in 2016 Balance Cost of the Project was Rs 209.947 crore Eligible Central Assistance was Rs Nil CA released since 2016 till date- Nil State Share released through NABARD under LTIF till date- Rs Nil Physical progress- 87.06 percentage Financial Progress- 68.70 percentage Ultimate Irrigation Potential is 14520 Ha Irrigation Potential created till date- 14521 Ha Projected Date of Completion- March 2023
