Description | The Tim Andrews Horticulture Expansion Project involves expanding a gravel parking and storage area into adjacent undeveloped land in Dane County, Wisconsin. The project area will be roughly 1.23 acres, with 0.88 acres of temporary impacts and 0.35 acres of permanent impacts. The project may result in incidental taking of two state-endangered animals, the slender glass lizard and the ornate box turtle, which are confirmed in the vicinity of the project site. The Wisconsin DNR has proposed to issue a permit for this incidental taking and includes having a biological monitor on site to help move animals and mitigate impacts by enhancing adjacent habitat. |
