Description
Description | The „Time Champions“ project, designed for secondary school athletes aged 14 to 19, aims to enhance their time management skills, crucial for balancing sports and academics. The project's key activities include the development of a user-friendly website and the creation of 10 innovative podcasts. These podcasts, integrating practical advice and motivational stories, will directly benefit 100 young athletes who will participate in the project activities. This will also be ensured through the project's two main results: - Development of a project website and 10 educational podcasts focusing on time management, featuring practical advice from psychologists and inspirational stories to engage and educate young athletes; - Conducting pilot activities and other initiatives in 2 countries, involving a minimum of 100 young male and female athletes aged 14 to 19. Aligned with EU policies like the EU Work Plan for Sport 2021-2024 and the EU Guidelines on Dual Careers for Athletes, the project contributes significantly to the EU's emphasis on education through sport and the holistic development of young athletes. The project's innovative approach, leveraging digital media and interactive learning, aligns with the EU's Digital Transformation and Action Plan for Digital Education, addressing current trends in technological development and digital education. Expected results include improved time management skills among participating athletes, enhanced capacity of the participating organizations (In-PRES and CitizensACT) in delivering modern sports education, and promotion of gender equality through equal participation of male and female athletes. The project aims to create lasting impacts at both the individual and organizational levels, contributing to the broader objectives of the Erasmus+ program in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment in sports across Europe. |
