The objective of the Social Protection Administration Project for Timor-Leste is to improve program management of Ministry of Social Solidarity (MSS) to implement core cash transfer programs in an efficient, reliable and transparent manner through standardizing information management and strengthening program implementation and management capacity. There are two components to the project, the first component being support to Management Information System (MIS) Development and Service Delivery Innovation. This component will comprise of two subcomponents: MIS hardware, system design, development and deployment; and technical advisory services on project management and implementation. The second component is the capacity building, training and policy support. This component will provide resources to MSS to conduct a capacity building needs assessment followed by capacity building activities for MSS staff through a study tour, workshops and training activities.
