Description | Tinley Park Plaza is a roughly 230,000-square-foot shopping hub at 15917 South Harlem Avenue in Tinley Park, Illinois. Brixmor Property Group has invested over $17 million in redevelopment, including demolishing 87,000 square feet of existing structures and constructing 66,000 square feet of new retail space. A key part of the project was a 38,000-square-foot grocery shell designed for Amazon Fresh, which signed a lease in 2021 but vacated the space in February 2026 after Amazon Fresh and Amazon Go shut down all their stores. Brixmor is currently facing a moratorium imposed by the Village of Tinley Park on new grocery store business licenses, preventing leasing the space to a new grocer. |
