Description | BR Retreading (also known as Brad Ragan Recycling Inc.) is planning to construct a tire retread and remanufacturing plant at the Highland Glen Industrial Park in Glasgow. The project scope includes construction of an 80,000- to 120,000-sq-ft building; and purchase and installation of waste-tire receiving and handling equipment, an air compressor system, molds, retread presses, steam and curing chambers, conveyors, and rubber compounding, skiving, filling, cutting, grooving and testing equipment. Construction is expected to begin in 2019. The facility will be used to remanufacture off-road tires for the mining, agricultural, construction and other industries. |
