Description | The project will improve active transportation by completing shared roadway/neighbourhood bikeways on various roads on the Tk’emlups First Nation. The project will work towards traffic calming and create a network that connects to transit and encourages outdoor activities. The project will reduce speeds on the roads within the First Nation and encourage outdoor activity. The project will also connect to transit allowing for movement with the community and into Kamloops. The project works include: - installation of signage, speedhump and pavement markings; - installation of asphalt for road widening; and, - all related works. |
