Description | The project will support the Truth and Reconciliation’s Calls to Action by constructing a health facility that will promote healing and reintegration for First Nations youth using equine-based programs. The facility will work to combat the affects of addiction, abuse, violence and high crime rates that are of concern in the Tl’etinqox communities. It will support youth with community, culturally - appropriate methods of healing through the psychotherapeutic programs. The project works include: -Construction of 3700 sqft Lodge and 1456 sqft bunkhouse with 10 bedrooms and 16 beds; -construction of potable water infrastructure; -installation of septic field; -all electrical, mechanical and plumbing as required; -construction of equine facilities; and, -related equipment and works. |
