The project aims to support 1.000 participants offering measures such as labour market information, counselling, job search assistance and placement in intern- and apprenticeships or employment combined with funding measures helping to overcome the major obstacles to transnational labour mobility. At least 70 % of the funding is dedicated to jobseekers aged between 18 and 35 years, 65% of which are earmarked for specific projects for young people with special needs, NEETs and graduates. In the age segment of participants 35+, 15% of the funding is dedicated to support participants aged 50+. Application is open to all citizens with EU-nationality or legal residence in the EU-27 countries, Iceland and Norway. Considering the asymmetric impact of the Covid 19 crisis in the EU, the focus is on enabling people in the countries particularly affected, to find a quick and sustainable way out of unemployment. The support includes funding placement into the most affected and strategically important sectors. Germany is one of the countries with a rather fast recovering labour market and offers great opportunities in Europe. Thus, the project will focus on placement in Germany. The German social security system offers numerous support measures to new employees from the EU, especially apprentices. Co-applicants in the consortium are the German EURES-Partners TIBOR and BBZ. The associate partners are EURES Spain, Greece and Cyprus. TIBOR and BBZ - both private training providers - will provide consultation services to SMEs implementing integration programmes, supporting new employees in their attempt to get familiar with their new living and working environment. The cooperation is based on an agreement. Within the Consortium and with partners from 11 EU countries, the planning for the practical implementation of the project is based on concrete demands from companies meeting a complementary workforce supply.
