Together against discrimination

The focus of the project is to overcome prejudices against minorities, other nations or different sex and age group. The prejudices are a source of discrimination, which should not have a place in our contemporary world. However, discrimination based on sex, race and nationality is rooted in society and the situation concerning the COVID-19 pandemic has even strengthened this negative problem. This happens in every country across the EU. The project partners represented by self-governments and non-profit organizations from six countries try to deal with this negative trend. Implementing the project, which all the partners together with groups of sent citizens from the countries will participate in, is such a form of solution. Its duty will be to present national minorities, their culture and customs as well as organizations, which help with an integration of policies of the EU in this area, to citizens from six member EU states. The project will also present citizens, language and culture of six different countries. Changing thinking of citizens will be the result, as discrimination will not have a place among them. Within the project, values as tolerance, dialogue, engagement, solidarity and cooperation will be presented. These values are important for creating discrimination-free space. Thus, the project supports connecting citizens via an intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding. These aims will be fulfilled: 1) Supporting connecting citizens of various nationalities and cultures 2) Providing impulses for overcoming prejudices 3) Creating space for an intercultural dialogue 4) Debate about the future of Europe
