The village of Ohrady has decided to build a new story for Europe with its partner cities. The project partnership and cooperation were inspired by the sharing of ideas, building on the experience of partners based on the past with a focus on the present and enabling citizens to re-engage through the EU integration process. The partnership focuses mainly on: - Raising awareness of the richness of Europe's cultural and linguistic environment - Raising awareness of the importance of strengthening the European integration process on the - basis of solidarity - Strengthening the sense of European belonging by fostering the debate on the future of Europe - Taking into account the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on local communities Target groups: The aim of the project is to reach as many participants as possible, focusing on the young generation who are potential for creating a new story for Europe. The program is designed so that the activities follow each other and are set for all age groups of participants. All parts of the program contribute to mutual communication and getting to know each other. The working procedures that apply in the implementation will ensure strengthening. Emphasis will be placed on gender equality in the design and implementation of programs in order to ensure equal access for women and men, children of all backgrounds. The target group that we also focus on in the project are excluded groups of the population that are affected, at risk of social exclusion or at risk of poverty. These were mainly inhabitants of segregated and separated Romani communities and families with children on the brink of poverty. which is in a given percentage in each partner municipality.
