Togo - Institutional Capacity Building Support Project (PARCI)

The Institutional Capacity Building Support Project is designed to assist the Government of Togo in implementing its programme. The project is in line with the strategy set out in the 2006 Dialogue paper, which lays down the conditions for dialogue with the Government and consultation with the other development partners towards the resumption of Bank Group intervention in Togo. It has been designed in support of the government efforts at modernization of the public administration and strengthening of macroeconomic and budgetary management, in order to promote good economic and financial governance in Togo. The project components are: A Strengthen macro-economic management; B Strengthen budget implementation and monitoring; C Management and monitoring of the project. Its implementation will contribute to improving the organizational and institutional framework of control and programming agencies. It will also help build the capacities for design formulation, implementation and monitoring of economic policies. The project will be implemented over a period of thirty-six (36) months with a total cost, net of taxes and customs duty, estimated at UA 2.47 million.
