Description | The Topaz wind project is a 66-MWm/65-MWe onshore wind farm located within the borders of the Alaca and Aydincik districts of Corum and Yozgat provinces in Turkey. It was awarded to RES in a wind tender held by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) almost 10 years ago and obtained a production licence in March 2026. The project has been sold by RES Group to Reges Elektrik, which aims to accelerate its power generation activities. Upon completion, the wind farm is expected to generate approximately USD 13.2 million in revenue over the first 10 years and around USD 25 million in grid fees over its 25-year lifespan. |
