Topeka Fire Hydrants and Water Valves Inspection and Assessment

The City of Topeka is partnering with Hydromax to inventory and assess 16,600 water valves and 5,600 fire hydrant systems over the next five years. The project involves testing, documenting issues, and making work orders for repairs or replacements as needed. The initiative is funded through the city's capital improvement projects to update the assessment of existing utility assets, some of which have not been maintained for 40 to 50 years.
