Description | An innovative way for the inhabitants to host visitors. Creation of a platform to match visitors and inhabitants for genuine cross-border meetings, exchanges, experiences. Three areas of work. Firstly: create tools for these e-bassadors: application website, label. Secondly: activate, train and coordinate e-bassadors; young inhabitants who sign up to “guide” visitors, virtually via chat AND physically in the destination. Thirdly: promote the cross-border region as a tourist destination. The e-bassadors are complementary to existing tourist advisory services and facilities, because they are aimed at individual visitors and cover different themes such as lifestyle and culture. This is a pilot project. The tool is scalable: depending on the interests of e-bassadors and visitors, the tourism-cultural offer, new cities... the e-bassadors network can evolve. |
