Description | The TourScience project was a success, it allowed to spread the concept of scientific tourism and to develop it in our territories. After the project, already in 2017 the municipality of Torgnon has applied the 10 scientific circuits, updated the tools, the CREA has realized stays of participatory science with the involvement of the visitor. Capitalizing, we realized that there are more opportunities. The COVID has shown the fragility of these territories, strongly hit by the crisis of the tourist economy, concentrated in the summer and winter months. Climate change requires an adaptation of mountain activities and the affirmation of a more resilient activity, distributed over the seasons, compatible with a changing environment, a quality of life to be preserved. Hence the importance of a "Plus" in TourScience. |
