Description | The proposed project is a shared use path facility used to connect pedestrian traffic from the Noonday Creek Trail just north of the Town Center Mall northwards to the Skip Spann Connector just north of Chastain Road. The proposed typical section consists of a 13-ft wide shared use path consisting of an 8-ft bicycle lane and a 5-ft pedestrian lane with a 3-ft grass strip behind existing curb and a 2-ft grass shoulder on the back side of the path. The shared use path will begin north of a planned development under construction. The existing 10-ft asphalt path along Big Shanty Road will be reconstructed per the proposed typical section. |
