Description
Description | The Water Security Agency (WSA) flagged the current lagoon in the Town of Alameda to be over-capacity for treatment parameters and near/at allowable storage capacity for our current population. The main objective of the project is to upgrade the lagoon in the Town of Alameda by digging a new cell to increase its capacity and support future growth. The upgrades bring the Town of Alameda wastewater lagoon system in compliance with WSA and provincial regulations, using a projected population of approximately 500 people by the year 2040. The project will result in increased capacity to treat and/or manage wastewater and/or stormwater. |
