Town of Bridgewater Sanitary Stormwater Master Plan Upgrades

The project will improve the Town of Bridgewater’s waste water system through upgrading five pump stations, rehabilitating essential systems at the wastewater treatment plant, and replacing combined sewers with separated stormwater and sanitary sewer systems. The new and upgraded infrastructure will also be designed and built to mitigate current and future impacts by climate change. Once complete, the Project will significantly reduce the risk of damage from storms, which had resulted in sewer backups into homes and businesses and untreated sewage to be discharged into the LaHave River.
