Town of Kindersley - Kindersley Active Transportation Project

The Town of Kindersley’s Active Transportation project will consist of new community walking paths constructed, retrofit to an existing walking trail and construction of sidewalks in the community. This will provide a safe area for residents and visitors to walk. It will provide a great environment for outdoor recreation that will allow for appropriate social distancing yet allow residents and visitors of the community a great outdoor opportunity. The project will include resurfacing of an existing trail and the creation of a new pathway system that will connect to this existing trail. A few blocks of sidewalks will be reconstructed to allow for safe passageway of the public. The project will also include the addition of street and park fixed furniture including lighting, benches, shade areas and planters in some areas. The completion of this project will ensure that the public has access to safe outdoor active transportation for walkers, bikers, roller skaters, skateboarders, runners and other outdoor enthusiasts.
