Town of Moosomin Water Treatment Plant Upgrades

The objective of the project is to meet or exceed provincial drinking water quality standards. Project scope consists of treatment plant upgrades including new pre-treatment systems followed by membrane filtration technology; a new ultraviolet (UV) disinfection system will be installed to provide primary disinfection. Replacement of 7500m long raw water supply main, replacement of commercial/residential flow meters, back up generators at the water treatment plant (WTP) and well site. Upgrades to the chlorine gas room, new pumps, piping and plant equipment, a building expansion to house new systems, and communication upgrades between the wells and WTP and associated mechanical, piping, electrical works.
