Town of Naicam - Sanitary Sewer System Upgrades

The objective of this project is to upgrade the sanitary sewer collection and discharge system in the Town of Naicam. The project scope includes: -new south sewage pumping station & forcemain; -new north sewage pumping station & forcemain; -lining of existing vitrified clay tile gravity sanitary sewer main; -installation of new sanitary collection main; and -installation of new potable water distribution main. The sewage pumping stations will be constructed to upgrade existing 1961 sewage pumping stations which are currently in a state of disrepair. Paired with each sewage pumping station will be a utility building to house electrical and controls equipment providing longevity to component lifespans along with increased security. These utility buildings will also house standby generator power for use in case of an outage in the community. The project will result in increased capacity to treat and/or manage wastewater and/or stormwater and increased access to potable water.
