Town of Outlook Raw Water Intake and Water Treatment Plant Upgrades

The objective of the project is to increase access to potable water and to meet or exceed provincial drinking water standards and regulations. The project scope involves construction of a new raw water intake in the South Saskatchewan River as well as upgrades to the water treatment plant including addition of ultraviolet (UV) disinfection, improving flow through the reservoirs, re-routing the process wastewater through an equalization tank, installing a new filter backwash/transfer pump and associated mechanical, electrical, piping works.
