The objective of this project is to upgrade and expand the existing Recreation Centre to meet minimum Public Health Code requirements, upgrade aging infrastructure, and create accessible spaces for our recreation users. This project includes: - Demolition of existing outdoor pool basin, walls, deck, and removal of plumbing and mechanical systems; - Construction of new 25 m lap pool (500 sq.m.) with dive tank and family water park/zero beach entry area, including new plumbing, mechanical, electrical, deck, waterslide & toys. - Construction of a new 1500 sq.m. outdoor campground concession/bathroom unit, including related plumbing, mechanical and electrical - Upgrade electrical to campground to 50 amp, install sewer dump station & septic tank. - Install Reverse Osmosis System & water bottle filling stations - Build a new 61x15 Zamboni room on west side of the ice rink and reconfigure old room into coach area. - Extend current dressing room hallway and build two new 27x29 hockey dressing rooms.
