Town of Redvers - Water Treatment Plant and Process Upgrade

Drinking water project: The Town of Redvers is embarking on a water treatment plant and process upgrade. The main objectives are: 1. Improved water treatment quality, complying with provincial drinking water regulations as we currently exceed regulations in chlorine residual, ammonia and manganese; 2. Improved water treatment capacity; and 3. Improving outputs such as water treatment process, facility expansion and emergency power generation. The project scope involves: 1. Replacing our the existing water filtration system with a membrane treatment system; 2. Upgrades to our existing water treatment facility; and 3. Additional reservoir storage and emergency power generation. The outputs of the project are: 1. To comply with provincial regulations, providing our residents with above standard drinking water; 2. Future planning for our Municipality with additional reservoir for growth; and 3. Improved infrastructure.
