Town of Rose Valley Critical Wastewater and Water Line Infrastructure Replacement

The project objective is to increase waste water and water works structural capacity to handle extreme weather events, introducing greater system resilience with replacement of vulnerable critical infrastructure. Project scope involves replacement of three sections of infrastructure lines that are in imminent danger of failure, specifically: a. the sewer force main from the Town’s one sewer lift station to the lagoon; b. the north utility crossing of the CP railway - replacement of the wastewater main (the direct line from the majority of Town sewer services to the lift station) and replacement of the cast water main servicing the Nelson Avenue sub-division; c. the south utility crossing of the CP railway - replacement of the cast water and wastewater mains servicing the Rustad Avenue sub-division. Project output is improved resilience and adaptability enabled by infrastructure replacement with a new sewer force main and new water and sewer mains at the railway utility crossings.
