Town of Rosetown Lagoon Expansion and Industrial Lift Station Upgrade

The main objective of the project is to meet effluent limits to comply with provincial and federal regulations. The secondary cell of the lagoon is currently undersized for the town’s population. Any future growth of the community will put additional strain on the lagoon. Expansion is required to adequately service any growth in population size. The lagoon does not currently meet the standards set by the Wastewater Systems Effluent Regulations (WSER). The secondary cell expansion will have a storage volume of 202,000 cubic meters. The project also includes upgrades to the existing industrial area low lift sewage pumping station and construction of a new force main from the industrial pumping station to the lagoon replacing the current undersized force main.
