The objective of the project is to complete capital maintenance on the arena floor and roof to secure the longevity of the facility. It consists of four main components executed in two phases, with Phase 1 being planning and design, and Phase 2 being Demolition and Construction. Project scope includes removal of the existing 1,579 sqm concrete arena floor and replace with a new 5 inch thick, 1,579 sqm, concrete floor slab along with new header and return bench trenches, hot deck and cold deck piping, header assemblies, and 5 inch rigid insulation, rehabilitation of the arena roof by replacing the existing panels with an industry leading high-quality pre-engineered roof system. replacement of the aging fan system and the arena boards.
