This project will build and improve stormwater management assets in order to enhance the ability of the vulnerable coastal region of the Town of Tecumseh’s storm drainage system to handle heavy rain. Once completed, the increased resilience of the storm drainage system will also increase the reliability of the community’s essential services, protect the local economy from flood-related losses, reduce the impacts of severe weather on the health and safety of the community, and provide significant long-term savings by avoiding future recovery and replacement costs.
